Welcome to my site! In my writing life, I've crafted articles on everything from books to Bridezillas to business. I'm a Seattle freelance writer who loves covering travel, health, lifestyle, retail, and relationship stories, but my mom's favorite thing to tell people is that I write a bimonthly column on needlepointing — mostly because she finds it amusing that my writing and researching can make up for my undomestic goddess personality. She thinks my golf articles are funny, too.
I've written for outlets such as American Way, WeightWatchers.com, Match.com, Fodor's, and Four Seasons Magazine. The last time I moved, I put all my writing samples in the same box. The box didn't make it unscathed — my first clue that I overloaded it probably should've been that I couldn't lift it, but I didn't really think it would rip apart quite the way it did. If that isn't proof enough that I do a lot of writing, see some of my work and a more complete list of my clients here.
And as much as I enjoy writing, copyediting is one of my first loves — second only to candy and maybe naps. So maybe that's third only. In any case, read more about that here (copyediting, that is, not candy/naps, although I'm sure I could write a story about both if asked).
If you're still with me, take a look at my bio, follow me on Twitter, "like" me on Facebook, and please feel free to contact me anytime!
